Privacy information and support for MOSS, a native arcade garden game for iPhone and iPad.

Effective October 18, 2026 · Published by GET Technologies

MOSS does not require an account. Your garden progress stays on your device. Optional video rewards use Google’s advertising and consent services.

Your game data

MOSS stores garden achievements, scores, daily challenge results, Dew, cosmetic ownership and selections, sound and effects preferences, and reward claim records in the app’s local storage. This lets the game remember your progress and prevent duplicate rewards.

MOSS also saves your current garden and Field Note goal so you can return after an interruption. Device-only play summaries, a randomly generated installation identifier, optional reward choices, ad readiness and reported ad-value records help personalize pacing between gardens and optional reward offers. The local model and diagnostic history stay on your device; MOSS does not upload them to an analytics service. Google’s advertising services still process their own data as described below.

Daily challenges are generated on your device from the UTC calendar date. MOSS does not provide account-based cloud sync or an online leaderboard. Apple’s device backup and restore features may include app data according to your settings.

Dew and cosmetics are in-game items. They are not cash and cannot be redeemed for money. MOSS does not sell Dew through in-app purchases.

Optional video ads

When you choose an optional video reward, MOSS uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. These services contact Google to check privacy choices and request ads. Ordinary play remains available if you skip a video, an ad is unavailable, or a video does not finish.

Google’s advertising SDK may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and crash and performance information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and service improvement. Google and participating advertising providers process this information under their policies.

MOSS requests nonpersonalized ads and disables Google’s publisher first-party ID. It does not request Apple’s tracking permission. These settings do not mean that ads process no data.

Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google’s mobile ads data disclosure.

Your choices

You can turn off Personalized Pacing in the Field Guide to use the standard pacing and optional offers. Daily challenges always use the same pacing for everyone. Export Play Diagnostics shares a local diagnostic file only when you choose a destination in the system share sheet.

You can decline optional video offers and continue playing. Where required, Google’s consent form lets you choose how advertising information is used. Open the game’s Help sheet and select Ad privacy choices when that option is available to review or change your choices. Changes apply to future ad requests; they do not by themselves delete information already processed by providers.

To remove the game’s local data, delete the app from your device using iOS Delete App. Offloading an app retains its documents and data. Copies in device backups are controlled by your Apple backup settings; reinstalling or restoring a backup may restore saved progress.

If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you send and use them to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid including sensitive personal information. For questions about privacy or requests concerning information you have provided to us, email the address below. Advertising-provider requests may also need to be made directly to the relevant provider.

A helping hand

For MOSS support or privacy questions, contact GET Technologies:

For a game issue, include your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Your game progress is stored locally, so support cannot access or restore your device’s saved garden.

Quick answers

  • No video available? Try again later. You can keep playing, and ordinary garden rewards are collected without an ad.
  • Daily challenge changed? A new shared canopy arrives at midnight UTC. You can retry each day’s challenge without an ad-assisted continue.
  • Changed devices? MOSS has no account sync. Whether saved progress transfers depends on your device backup or migration settings.
